Rajpura unit is located on the banks of
the river Ganga and thus enjoys year round
availability of all its water requirements for industry and irrigation. Land
and soil of this region are very conducive for sugarcane cultivation and the
yields and recoveries are good. The site is well connected with all the important
towns such as Moradabad, Aligarh and is also in close vicinity of Delhi (125 Km).
During the 2009-10 season, the unit was operational for 107 days and crushed
50.31 lac quintals of sugarcane, thereby witnessing
a daily increase of 23 % over the previous season.
The complete engineering of this
facility has been planned and executed by Dhampur. The plant is fully
automated and has one of the lowest steam consumptions in the country.
Vertical Continuous Pans developed by Dhampur are being used in “B” and “C” massecuites using 3rd vapour
for reduced steam consumption.
The plant has world-class technology. It’s salient

The unit has an intensive cane
development programme. It provides the farmers, seeds
of latest and high sucrose content sugarcane varieties, supplies high quality
pesticides on subsidized rates and creates awareness of latest
We have recently set up the Academy of Modern Learning with one of it’s
branches at Gunnaur (near Rajpura).
The school is equipped with modern learning and sports facilities and
encourages co-curricular activities to facilitate wholesome development.
