• Modernisation and Upgradation of Sugar mills
   
• Design, manufacture and supply of key equipment including milling tandem, grooved roll and toothed roll pressure feeders, cane preparatory devices such as cutters, fibrizers and shredders
   
• Diversification plans and project studies for developing Sugar Complexes where sugar is just one of several products produced from sugarcane. These include Cogeneration Plants for supply of Power to the Public Utility, downstream chemicals based on molasses as the feed stock, and fuel grade ethanol. Other uses of bagasse as a raw material for paper and board depending on plant location and economics.
   
• Consultancy to provide an on site continuous Technical Assistance Programme for factory operations designed to improve technical efficiencies including improvement in cane crushing rate and plant capacity, improved sugar recovery, reduction and optimization of energy utilization, and improve plant availability with a well designed, need based plant preventive maintenance schedule assisted by machinery condition monitoring and vibration analysis etc.
   
• Budgeting with resource management studies and implementation

The Dhampur team has successfully Modernised and Upgraded a Sugar Mill in Trinidad and Tobago. The contract was awarded after an International tender. The plant capacity was improved after modernization to 300 Tons per hour on a single tandem. State of the art equipment such as TRPFs, shredder, rake inter carrier were designed and installed.

Projects in hand include a comprehensive Technical Assistance Programme for five Government owned sugar mills in Jamaica. The programme has already shown substantial improvement in crushing rates, mill extraction, and reduction of downtime and energy utilization within the span of one year.
